Visiting fellow at the National Human Genome Research Institute, National Institutes of Health
I have a BSc in Biology/Biotechnology from the University of Waterloo, and a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of British Columbia. Currently, I am exploring the origins of the two metazoan gap junction protein families (i.e., connexins and innexins).
I'm an enthusiastic skier and rock climber, I have two cats, and if you ask nicely I can flip you up onto my shoulder.
