Cahyani, Ni Kadek Dita
My name is Ni Kadek Dita Cahyani (Dita). In the past two years I have been at Indonesian Biodiversity Research Center (IBRC), working as research coordinator for the project. I received my BS in Biology at Gadjah Mada University, Jogjakarta and Master on Environmental Science at Udayana University, Bali. For the past 7 years I have conducted molecular ecology based research. I’ve started with the population genetics of green sea turtles in Indonesia, and now I work on the phylogenetic and population genetics study on a variety of marine organisms. My primary interest is population genetics, but I also have interests in evolutionary process and phylogenetic study of biodiversity, cryptic species, especially using molecular techniques to support direct management and conservation in Indonesia.
