From MolEvol

I am a third year PhD student at The University of Warwick (UK). My research takes place at our Wellesbourne campus formally know as HRI Wellesbourne. My interests are natural plant resistance and plant virology, for this work I am interested in understanding the genetic diversity and geographical movement of plant viruses. The goal of this work is to achieve extreme and durable resistance to the virus Turnip yellows virus (TuYV) across Europe in an effort to increase yield by up to 65% in Brassica crops.
