I will give two lectures on Saturday, August 2nd. Most importantly, after the lobster dinner on Thursday, I hope to lead us in singing The Amphioxus Song, the official course song. However, that depends on my plane arriving early enough at Logan Airport to allow me to catch the right buses to get there, as I am to arrive that evening. (I am hoping they'll hold a lobster, butter sauce, a sausage, a corn cob, and some strawberry shortcake for me).

The lectures will be similar to the 2013 ones, and I will post the PDFs of the projections here soon, and the audio recordings here afterwards,

I will be available in the course Friday and Saturday, and will be happy to talk to people. I leave early Sunday, as I need to co-lead the Evolutionary Quantitative Genetics tutorial at NIMBioS in Knoxville, Tennessee all the next week.

2013

I gave two lectures on Saturday, July 27th. Here are the PDFs of the lecture projections:

1. A lecture on phylogenetics and quantitative characters. (PDF of the lecture slides) (WMA audio recording) (MP3 audio recording)

2. A lecture on the history of numerical work on phylogenies. (PDF of the lecture slides) (WMA audio recording) (MP3 audio recording)

On Saturday night, after the banquet, I sang The Amphioxus Song, the official course song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TF1J1h0WbI Here is a video of the event.

I will be available in the course all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday, leaving Sunday (the 28th).
